Every deal we post has passed our BGG-based quality filter. Here's exactly how it works — no black box, no guesswork.
We scrape BoardGameGeek's community rankings weekly. Any game ranked in the top 1,000 is automatically eligible — these are the titles the hobby community has voted on with thousands of plays and ratings.
Great games don't always crack the top 1,000 yet. If a game isn't ranked there, we check the BGG rating directly — 7.0 or higher with at least 1,000 voters earns a spot in our tracker.
Monopoly, Risk, Candy Land, Battleship — permanently blocked. No matter how "good" the price, we won't surface titles the hobby community has written off. You'll never see junk here.
A deal must be at least 20% below the 90-day average price and save you at least $5 in absolute dollars. No fake "was $99.99" markups — we check the actual price history.
BoardGameGeek's 20+ years of community data tells us which games matter to hobby gamers. We pull the top ~1,000 ranked games weekly — the community's consensus, not a marketing list.
Our bot tracks price history on those games 24/7 via Keepa. When a price drops 20%+ below its 90-day average, it enters the evaluation queue.
Qualifying deals are posted to our Telegram channel — typically 2–3 per day. Each post shows the current price, discount percentage, and a direct Amazon link.
The games we track are chosen by the BGG community, not Amazon's bestseller algorithm. If a game matters to serious gamers, it's in our tracker.
We require both a 20%+ percentage drop and a $5+ absolute savings. We cross-check against 90-day price history so "sales" that aren't really sales never make it through.
2–3 deals per day maximum. We'd rather you trust every post than skim because we blast 30 mediocre alerts at you. Quality over quantity.
When we have multiple qualifying deals, BGG rank breaks the tie. An Ark Nova deal (BGG top 5) gets prioritized over a rank-800 game at a similar discount.
